If you're here, you probably have a question about the site or have a problem. We hope this page will answer most of your questions, but if it doesn't, please send us an e-mail. What's
here? N.L. Construction's web site is best viewed using Netscape 3.0 or above, Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or above. You can download the current version of these browsers by visiting their respective sites. We have done everything we can to accommodate viewing with other browsers, but if you are not using the browsers above, you may find that some of the pages don't look quite "right." This is due to the differences between browsers. This is especially true of browsers which are still in beta development. N.L. Construction's site is optimized to be viewed at a screen resolution of 640 x 480 with at least 256 colors. If you have an old version of a browser or a browser other than Netscape Navigator (3.0 or better) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (3.0 or better), our layout may not look right. This is probably caused by your browser not understanding the TABLE tag. This HTML extension allows us to format a page with multiple columns and align text and images in neat formats. If you're not sure if your browser understands tables, here's a test:
If you see the last two sentences side-by-side with a border separating them, your browser supports tables. If not, it doesn't. You can download the current releases of the browsers by visiting their respective web sites. What are plug-ins and why do I need them? Plug-ins are software programs that extend the capabilities of your browser in a specific way. N.L. Construction's site periodically makes material available in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) and in order to view those pieces you will need the following plug-in: Acrobat Reader by Adobe. Acrobat Reader lets you view, navigate and print PDF files right in you browser. PDF files are extremely compact and platform-independent. Download a version of the free Acrobat Reader by clicking here. |
